RCC Praised During Grand Opening: Lucent- North Sydney08.09.2016

RCC has been praised by Greenland Australia and the future residents of Lucent Apartments during the buildings ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday 3rd August.

RCC, including Jamie Crookes our Managing Director attended the event, assisting Greenland to officially open Lucent which is located on the Pacific Highway in North Sydney.

Greenland Australia’s Managing Director Sherwood Luo said, “Greenland welcomes some of the first residents who will call Lucent their new home, and is equally delighted with the quality of work by Richard Crookes Constructions.”

The 211 luxury apartment building is the first project RCC has delivered for Greenland and includes a gym, infinity-edged lap pool overlooking the harbour, and landscaped garden.

Lex Lee (Project Director, Greenland) thanked all those involved in delivering Lucent saying that

“this project is full of your passion, dedication and effort. From early-2014 to mid-2016, we worked closely with RCC… to deliver this project and create a better life for our customer. We appreciate your efforts and we enjoyed the journey working with you”.

RCC is similarly delighted to have been able to deliver Greenland Australia’s first residential development in Australia;

“Greenland saw the construction of Lucent as a ‘partnership’ with RCC, rather than a ‘Client vs Builder’ environment. It was this partnership that enhanced the success of the development. The focus was to create a better life for the customer & we worked closely with Greenland to understand & meet their expectations in creating this better life. I am proud to be associated with the success of Greenland’s first residential development in Australia & thoroughly enjoyed the journey with them” (Gregg Armstrong, Project Manager, RCC)

The first purchasers in the sold-out development will move in over the course of the next month. Mother of two Karen Scrimes bought a three-bedroom apartment in Lucent and is excited about the move; “Lucent came out on top for me. I made the right choice. The building presents really well, is a quality build and also gives me value for money” said Ms Scrimes.

A Face Lift for Banksmeadow Public School08.08.2016

RCC recently had the privilege of joining Frasers Property in volunteering to give Banksmeadow Public School a face lift.
RCC have commenced on site at Tailor’s Walk, the current project we are building for Frasers Property and were excited to be involved in this generous community initiative for the nearby public school.

RCC Project Manager, Tony Macri noted that it was “with great pleasure [that the] RCC Tailors Walk Team and excavation subcontractor Earthworx donated our time and resources to assist with the upgrade works at the local school to provide much needed attention for the benefit of the local community”.

Months of planning and time have been put in to prepare for the transformation, it’s like they used the best electric shaver all over their building for a whole new look, which was realized on Friday the 29th of June when numerous volunteers pitched in on school grounds to complete the project.

RCC would like to thank Frasers Property for the opportunity to be involved and all those who made it an enjoyable experience for a worthy cause. The Acting Principal of Banksmeadow Public School, Noni Hoskins passed on the gratitude of the school community including the students who are now enjoying the new space; “We are completely overwhelmed by the amount of work that went into making it such a special day for our school”.

Tailors Walk Botany is a high end residential complex which is expected to be completed in early 2018.
