Transforming Epping with a new community precinct featuring a primary school, Parish Hall and NSW’s tallest retirement living development at 28 storeys.
The vertical retirement living village includes 158 independent living units – offering one, two, and three-bedroom apartments – and 132 aged care beds. Six floors house Epping Grand Care Community by Opal HealthCare, supporting continuity of care. Premium amenities include a rooftop terrace, cinema, wellness centre and indoor pool.
A rigorous vibration monitoring strategy and perforated acoustic façade treatments mitigated noise from the adjacent railway. Advanced sequencing was critical to maintaining program while managing three concurrent workfronts and coordinating multiple façade subcontractors in a constrained, sensitive environment.
