“This will be a hub of innovation, collaboration, education and research which will transform health care and impact the lives of the 1.2 million residents expected to call this region home from 2031,” said Ryan Park, NSW Health Minister.
The Lang Walker AO Medical Research Building – Macarthur is a world-leading health research facility featuring the latest technologies and cutting-edge laboratories. The new facility, home to the Ingham Institute for Applied Medical Research – Macarthur, uplifts the Campbelltown Health and Education Precinct.
Researchers focus on complex health problems, including mental health, diabetes, child health and wellbeing and addiction medicine.
